About Our Event
Hope for the Journey equips professionals, parents and caregivers with the practical tools and understanding to build connection and trust with their children and teens, empowering them to thrive inside and outside their home. Bringing together teaching, resources, and practical experiences, individuals will gain a deeper understanding of children’s needs. Hosts, C.A.R.E. and Connect, bring this great opportunity to our area to connect with others that care for and work with children from hard places. Learn trauma informed strategies with local teachers, social workers, day care providers, and church family ministries. There will be Attendance Certificate for foster parents or anyone that can use it for continued education hours.
Childcare is NOT provided; however, nursery quiet rooms are available for parents and children. Supervision is the parent’s responsibility. We suggest finding childcare for the day.
